12th Convocation

Instructions for the students having 16 digits PRN (e-suvidha students)
 

 
1. Before Online application for Convocation students should have the following
a)        Fees for Convocation Rs.600/-
b)       Payment Mode :
1.         Online Payment through Debit/Credit Card,
2.        Net banking,
         C) Soft copy of latest Passport size photograph and signature in jpeg format. (Photograph Size 1.25X1.5 inch ,300dpi )  
 
2.  Important Instructions for the student: 
a)        It is mandatory for the student to upload  his/her latest Photograph and Signature while applying online for the Convocation , otherwise the old/previous  photograph available on the Digital University Portal shall be Printed on Degree Certificate. No complaints will be entertained in this regard and the degree certificate shall not be reprinted.
b)       To get the details regarding Convocation Ceremony and to obtained the degree Certificate by Post student should have to update his/her Contact Details- Address, Mobile Number and email-id  while applying online for the Convocation.
4 The exact date and time of Convocation Ceremony will be notified later on University website, Press/Media and through e-mail/SMS alert to each Student. Hence, student has to update his contact details online. No correspondence in this regard shall be done from the University end.
5 After producing the fee receipts, Degree/Diploma certificate will be hand over to candidate receiving them In Person in the University office on the day and time which will be notified in due course of time.  In case such of the candidates, who fail to receive their Degree/Diploma/ Certificates In Person their certificates will be sent to them on their postal address by post.
6 Candidates applying for two or more Degrees, Diplomas, must submit separate applications and pay separate fees for each application.  
7 (For graduate degree students only) Those students who have failed in the Compulsory Environmental Studies  should not be apply for convocation
8 If the Degree Certificate once sent is returned back to the University if undelivered the candidate will have to send required postal charges again.
9 Incomplete and incorrect application received after the last date and application without  Payment Details and prescribed documents will be rejected.
10 The fees paid once will not be refunded.
11 The candidate shall have to submit the hard copy of Convocation form along with true copy of Mark sheet, prescribed receipt of fees paid.
12 The annual Convocation for conferring the Degrees/Diplomas will be held sometime in the month of December or later. The exact date and time of the convocation will be notified later on.

15 Complaints regarding errors in CERTIFICATE should be made in writing within one month from the date of issue of Degree Certificate.
16 Complaints regarding non receipt of Degree/Diploma Certificate be made in writing within three months from the date convocation.  Complaints received after prescribed time will not be entertained in any case. 
17 Candidates applying for two or more Degrees, Diplomas, must submit separate applications and pay separate fees for each application.  
18  How to Apply for 12th Convocation Ceremony : 
1.        Visit the website http://su.digitaluniversity.ac 
2.        Click on   Click here for Application for Convocation>>>Read Instructions for the Students having 16 digit PRN>>>Click here to apply Online for convocation having 16 digit PRN
3.        Login using 16 digit PRN as a user name and with Password
4.        If you forgotten your  Password
 Click on Forgot Password>>>Enter 16 Digit PRN, Date of Birth, Mothers First Name>>>Recover Password>>Password will display on your Screen and using this password you can Login on the Portal.
5.        Click on Home>>>Enter 16 digit PRN>>>Enter Password
Change this password as soon as you login and note down this password for future use (Click on My Setting to change the Password)
6.        From the top menu of  Home Page …Click on Application>>>Convocation

7. Before Applying  Online for  Convocation, (New Application)Student have to Upload his/her latest Photograph and Signature on Portal.
Also to receive the Degree Certificate by Post and to know the exact date and time of convocation through SMS/email student have to  Update the contact details - Address, Mobile Number and email ids etc.

a)        Click here to change the Photo & Signature.>>>Request for Correction>>>Upload Photograph and Signature>>>Request Update
To update the contact details
b)       From the top menu of  Home Page …… Click on Application>>>Convocation>>>Click here to Change Contact Details>>>Enter Address and Mobile Number and email id>>>Update Contact Details
8.        From the top menu of Home Page …… Click on Application>>>Convocation  ….Click on New Application  (Before applying Student should have to Complete the Step No.7 ie uploaded latest photograph and signature, and update the contact details)
9.        Read the Instructions display on screen>>>Click on Apply
10.     Select Specialization (Only for the Courses having Specialization (for Ex. BA/BCom/BSc.)
11.     Select Prefer mode of Dispatch
a)        In Person : The Student who want to remain present for the convocation ceremony should have to select this option
b)       In absentia: The student who wish to receive the degree certificate by Post should have to select this option.
Select Preferred address for dispatch >>> Correspondence Address/Permanent Address or If you want to update these Address click on Other and Enter the address on which degree Certificate can be send by Post.
12.     Click on Proceed to Confirm Application>>>Confirm>>>Proceed to Payment Details>>>Make Payment>>>Proceed
13.     Download acknowledgement cum Receipt and Print the Convocation application
The Photograph Printed on Application may be Previous/Old but it may updated . After the request is approved from the University.
          14.  After attaching Mark statements and receipt of Online Payment/Challan/Demand Draft along with Degree certificate application   
                 forward the same within stipulated time limit. On the following address by super subscribing on envelope “Application for
